It's midnight and still 30 degrees! This is seriously the hottest day we’ve had – thought I was getting used to this heat but obviously not. I woke up really early today and had my swim before breakfast, which was so beautiful. The water was incredibly still – hardly even a ripple… you could see every detail on the sand whilst swimming. Settling in…
Week two is well under way and I'm starting to feel far more comfortable being here. I feel like I can take myself away from it all very easily, but as easily join in if I feel like some company. The kids are all so sweet and lovely which makes it very easy to help out. Not that I feel like I should but I can’t help feeling bad when not doing anything – today the oldest one was ill so we didn’t do any work!! ...
