      ... we have some dinner and settle in for the night. It is starting to get a little chilly at night ( down to around 10 Celcius) and we realize that there is no heat turned on. We call the owner and she said that the heat can't be turned on yet, it is against the law. I'm thinking that this is just the owners way of saving money. The landlords are probably not required to turn on the heat until November 1st. Canada has similar laws, but it is incovienent for ...

      ... had the stuff you put on mosquito bites so that helped a bit. Good thing it was me since Annie told me I had 30 minutes to get her to the hospital if she got stung with her allergies. Phew.

      On Saturday, we took a day off the bike and traveled to Giglio Island, one of the largest islands of the Tuscan archipelago. There are hundreds of islands off the Tuscan coast. Elba is the largest while Montecristo is one of the most famous.
