    Thursday 27 August
This morning there were only around six boats at anchor – a couple of yachts and a few super yachts (motor boats). From around 10am there was a steady stream of motor boats, ribs and yachts anchoring in the bay. By around 13:00 the cove was full of smaller craft – the large motor boats were anchoring a little further out.
Didn't do much today other than swim in the wonderful crystal clear waters.

    More lovely anchorages

... not to be with the supermarkets not being well stocked and expensive. We decided not to stay and went back to
    an anchorage just before Connigiorne.

In the morning went ashore hoping to find a supermarket but there wasn't one. At least we got rid of some garbage and recycling (although the yachtclub, being private, did not seem best pleased with us doing so). Took the dinghy and went back to the main town and completed some provisioning.

... we've decided to stay put and undertake some chores
etc. A number of boats have re-anchored and we think we may have dragged up to 10 meters with the strong winds. There's quite a bit of weed on the bottom. Kept an eye out most of the day and feel quite comfortable that we are well dug in as are the boats around us.

... killed us, but by the time we are organised it is close to 11am! We walk slowly down the road;it's so steep you have to lean back to walk down safely. We get to the Devils bridge and take photos on the bridge and looking down. We tell our group that we are walking all the way down below but a few that have knee issues decide to wait it out under a shady tree. The rest of us walk down to the gorge and arrive at the ...

    ... SantaTeresa in Sardinia.....about 1 hour.
Santa Teresa is on the on the northern most tip of Sardinia, and the coast. Of Corsica can be seen from this mainland. The town has a population of 5000 but increases this time of the year to 10,000 to 15,000. [PHOTO_ID_R=santa-teresa
We arrived at about 5pm and took a tour of the town centre.
Dinner that night was cod fish pieces and muscles with a cummin sauce and salad.
