... as we sailed in to the the sunset, Rome bound. It's now 8pm and we've just returned to our cabin after a full day out. A quick shower next, some food somewhere (unsure where yet) possible movie and then bed. It's a 7am dock in the morning and we need to be off early if we are to try and get to Rome. We got to the hotel too early for our room, so we drove into town for a little lunch. We each had a small beer and split a panini sandwich.

Like I've said before these last two islands are more resort islands than we had imagined. So, we aren't getting much exercise but truly enjoying the ...

... off to the laundromat to do some laundry. That was a 2 1/2 hour adventure that would take too long to recount in this travel blog. When Peter finally returned, it was soon time for dinner at La Tour Genoese which is around the corner from our hotel. Peter had lamb and Anne had rockfish en papillote which apparently means wrapped in aluminum foil. It was tasty nonetheless. We will certainly miss some of theses delicious dinners once we're back to our old routines at ...

... to the side of the cliff. It's just as well we weren't aware of what was under the road because in some places the cliff undercut the road, leaving the road hanging out from the cliffs! We stopped for a light lunch about half an hour before reaching our hotel which was only accessible by a narrow pedestrian street. Fortunately, the crowds parted to let us through. When we checked into the hotel, we found ...
