AJACCIO IS GORGEOUS!! The cliffs along the shoreline with the mountains in the background, the buildings, everything- GORGEOUS! Shame I had some inductions to go to and was kept quite busy so I wasn't able to take any pictures or get off the boat, but that will change next time. One word for this port- stunning!

Day 180. Road to Ota 11/10/08 6am start, ouch. Caught the 6.30am bus to Ajaccio that was running on Corsican time. While waiting I re-read the lonely planet on my days route. It was quite specific, no buses from Ajaccio to Porto from Oct 10, yesterday. Do I miss the West coast and attack the GR20 North from the East, or go West. Wing-it, I continue my plan. ... we were doing did not require us to finish in terms of reaching a certain point. But sitting on this street I did not want to give up. But alas our ride arrived and back to Ajaccio we went to meet back up with the rest of our team.
