... grade. Excellent! Boys happy and Girls happy (for now). So we booked on to the Grade 3 Via Ferrata Col Rodella at 1:30pm with local guide Renato. Then it was back to the caravan for some sunbathing and an early lunch. After lunch we met up with Renato at the Col Rodella Cable Car just round the corner from our campsite and got kitted out in harness and helmets, then it was into the Cable Car and swiftly up out ...

... at the top we saw that the walking tracks zig zagged the train tracks through the countryside and many walkers were using the train to break or extend their routes. In hindsight a train ticket would have added even more to the day. There are 2 further cable cars that travel up to 2260m, which would be great to explore, but we begin cycling ...

... are all very similar. They have large decks with beautiful flowers flowing down towards the ground the entire the length of the deck. Many of the buildings and some of the homes have faux painting around the windows and doors. It is so well done, for a while I thought it was real. It was really quite amazing.

We then headed to Italy and drove the Timmelsjoch pass ( www.timmelsjoch.tirol ). It was my first real experience with a steep winding ...
