    I was surprised to find out that the bus to San Jose left in 10 mins, which suited me just fine.     ... through the jungle for 30 minutes put me off. However they do have some nice trails in the jungle which they charge a one off fee of $4 to access. I met the owner and he showed me a map of the trails and I decided I would spend Sunday in there.

    ... of happiness and consolation. I learned quickly that whenever people asked about my ankle, the best response was "pura vida" with a shoulder shrug and smile. The Costa Ricans are also very proud to be the only country in the world without a military. Such happy, loving people.
