... Cathedral. Last night we took a night train to Prague (9hrs) then a bus to Cesky Krumlov. We were somewhat nervous riding the bus, as it was very old, the tires were bald, & the driver looked like John Belushi from the movie "Animal House". But we made it here & are looking forward to seeing the town, which looks like a fairy tale village.

... bag before one last dinner in town and a walk up the hill to capture it by starlight. Well worth the trek!

Saturday saw me up early and off to catch the 9am bus back to Prague, and then mooch around the train station for a few hours spending my last Czech Koruns before the train takes me back to Germany. It’s been a great week in the Czech Republic, I’d love to come back and spend more time in Prague - I didn’t even get time to visit the castle!

After one more stop we had managed to raft all the way back to the hostel, where a hot shower was very ...

I have a fear if heights but this is something that I have always wanted to do. Last night I tried to sign up online but by mid-day I still had not heard anything. So I went to the office downtown. I was signed up for the 230 departure. At 230 we loaded a van and we were on our way. There was ...

... watch people enjoying their meals and beers as you float by.

After all the meat I had been eating for the past couple of weeks, I was happy to find out that there was a popular vegetarian restaurant in town! I chatted with the owner and he was nice enough to throw in free dessert and jasmine green tea at the end of my meal! I didn't realize how many Asian tourists actually pass by this town. He mentioned that it was ...
