... punsch stands. Punsch is usually a fruit juice blend with rum, served warm. Many stands customize with their own special recipe. There are also variations, Tim was partial to an apple strudel with Jack Daniels double shot. Mulled wine, called "Gluhwein" is also available, but I prefer the punsch.

We followed the Austrian tradition of Christmas trees a little more closely this year, not putting it up until just a couple days before the big day and leaving it up ...

... Lumes. This is where the fun began. We decided to see where reception was before we got our cases out. Reception was on the first floor so we came across this tiny little lift 900x900. I had originally wanted to go swimming today, but it was cold and threatened to rain, so that sort of put an end to that plan. I had set out to find something for breakfast, but ended up just wandering aimlessly through the Old Town. I had nothing better to do, so I decided to go to the museum for a while. It was sort of boring, but for 50Kc it ...

... 2:00 we headed out to explore more of the town and ended up at the castle grounds, but found out all tours are closed on Mondays. But a least we were able to walked around the grounds and we found a bridge with many people looking over it and down talking pictures. We were curious so we went and looked down only to find a brown bear chilling out eating some veggies that were put out for him. There was a small area around the lower grounds of the castle the ...
