Back to Venice to pick up Steph
... got a shower about 8.30. Well I say 'shower', but in fact all rooms were trying to shower at the same time and at one point, just as I had put soap all over me, I lost all water pressure completely. Aaagh!!! I simply had no option but to wait until someone had finished!!! Lovely :(
After a pleasant breakfast, I did some more blog entries - although discovered later on in the day that NONE of the pictures I uploaded that morning had saved to the blog. Very frustrating! ...
Maze of canals and alley ways
... had not returned so I went in and found the shop keeper with every other type of glass elephant except the one in the window. Raelene insisted she 'just wanted the ones form the window’ and in turn the shop keeper became quite irate and Impossible to get the ones from the window, I don’t have the key!’…..we promptly left, still to this day wondering if it was actually his shop.
We finally hit the sack and I literally sunk into by bed, gotta love old mattresses! ...

So after the disaster getting into Venice we did some homework on how to get to the cruise terminal and just as well as some of the Vaparettos were not running and it would have stressed us out unnecessarily. We found on line Alilaguna Blu line from St Mark's to the cruise terminal. This is the best way to get to the terminal.
