... as much as we could, so we took the Vaporetto (water bus) and sat outside again, seeing lots of buildings that we hadn't had a chance to see and going underneath the Rialto Bridge.

It was really sad to have to leave Venice, especially so early in the afternoon, I wish I'd been able to spend more time there! But the weekend was amazing! We saw so many beautiful buildings and ate SO MUCH good food! It was the perfect way to celebrate our one year! :)

... and all of the residents work in the tourist industry. There is no other work done in the city. All the industry and office buildings, etc., are on the mainland.
