    ... hardly mention, but word of mouth tells you of some great places to visit. In the back of your mind you think, at least that gives you an excuse to come back again.

    In theory.

    I added the Parque National Los Volcanes and Lake Coatepeque to that list.

    At least this way, I now add several hours free in the sunshine in the garden of the hostel to book ahead some accommodation and try and sort out some travel plans for the next few days.

    ... The guys were wonderful, supportive and encouraging. It took us 1.5 hours to do what those guys could do in 8 minutes!! All I kept thinking was, what if I wet my pants!!! That would have been so embarrassing!! You'll be glad to know that I didn't and I'm only a little sore in my arms today. I really noticed that I need to work on my upper body strength. Sometime!! ;-)

    Started the day by driving to the San Vicente region to where our build site is. Checked in at our Posada (hostel), and had a quick team meeting about what to expect over the next two weeks. Long, busy work week ahead. Most days we will be on the site from 8 to 4 with 2 official breaks and an hour for lunch. Breaks and lunch are catered to the site every day by Habitat and clean drinking water is provided. We work on site with a construction leader, masons and assistants. We ...
