    ... culture this time and just dipped our feet in the water. We noticed that despite the heat all over El Salvador, there were almost no locals wearing anything shorter than a knee length skirt. It seems a bit ironic because most of the tops they wore were very revealing and the jeans they baked in were tighter than most gymnast outfits. Eventually we found our way back to San Salvador and our hostel.

    We decided to explore the Ruta de las Flores.

    ... that cute pair of shoes. I'm never going to forget the expression of defeat on that man's face when I told him what my leg cost. It's a painful reminder to continue to be grateful every day that I can be inconvenienced with putting on the leg in the middle of the night, or simply being able to wear two shoes.

    I'm suddenly emotionally and physically drained, and tomorrow is another early day (7am pickup), so I'm off to bed now.
