... in a Banana's Foster and the answer was.. YES WE WERE!

Bryce and I have never actually tried that dessert before and we didn't really know what we had in store for us but it sounded good. So away he went cooking our dessert right in front of us. Cream, butter, sugar... all the best kinds of ingredients for a dessert. He added banana's and set it aflame. We chatted some more with our new English friends while ...

... beach! We arrived in Playa del Carmen after an hour. It was a fairly busy town - and we were stopped by a red light at every single junction! Luckily, the bus station was small and easy to navigate! I bought a ticket (only MX38 this time - £1.75) for the next bus to Tulum - leaving in 15mins! Or so the timetable went. Carlos was awesome, exactly how Madeleine had explained him to be. Very chilled out, humorous and amazingly connected to the wonders of ...

We took the collectivo bus to Akumal on Friday. The collectivo is a small bus that takes a limited number of people to any destination. The bus sits at the curb and waits to be filled and once it's full it takes off to many destinations. We have never waited longer than five minutes to take off. The cost to get Akumal was only seven dollars for two of us! Cheaper than a taxi! And more ...

... with the water just a few feet away. Bobbie pretty much sat there all day, tanning and reading her book. I went into the water a few times which was nice and warm and it got deep really quick so you didn't have to be too far out to be up to your chest deep. At one point a big group that looked like a family were out too far and started to struggle and calling for help, then all these guys including a guy from the beach club fully ...
