... get to the point where I wake up in the morning with nothing on my plate other than deciding how I want to spend my day. Finally having the time to get to know San Miguel, its people and all it has to offer. But as I lay here listening to the sound of chipping, routing and rebar being cut with a handmade saw I realize that day is a still a long way off.

C. on the coast and about 4 days of cloudy weather in Chiapas (southern state). ... children tried to sell me chicklets, and women with veils recited their hail mary´s. I decided to take a cab to the anthropology museum to meet with the group instead of trying to find my way back to the bus. This turned out to be the best decision as the bus had moved.
