    ... fun, but we were all disappointed with the beach in the end and drilling for oil is obviously not a safe as the oil companies claim it is. (On a cool note, Carson and I have been finding coins along the way. Today was like any other day, Carson found two pennies behind the truck as we were packing the truck to head back to Ventura Ranch. This time it was extra special because one was American and the other was Canadian. We all thought this was pretty special!)

    ... displays than anyone else. Bev needed retail therapy and brought a spinning thing with coloured glass balls in it, to hang in our sun room at home.     ... eye-wateringly expensive, until we remembered we’re in the USA and prices are relative. The first stop was Mount Soledad, where we stopped for a few minutes for a scenic view over San Diego.     ... guys went out for drinks and that was that for the evening. Waking up the next day feeling much better, Cal headed back to Texas and left me and smithy to it. We decided to go to Seaworld for the day. There was loads to do and see. Sucker fish which come and suck on your arms and eat all the dirt!
