... is quick. We watch out the window as we fly pass Catalina Island. Before long we can see Balboa Park. When we land the boys fight over who gets to be the first on San Diego soil. Our shuttle home is quite entertaining. The boys excitedly point out things. "Look there's that wall!" "The construction is done over there." We unlock the house, it's really hot inside from being closed up but it feels incredible to be ...

He explained how bad this coastal area is now, with so many houses now under threat. Sat on the beach for a while watching surfers doing their thing :) Back to our room for a little rest. Before hitting the shops .... few last ...

... to Old Town for dinner. This is the part of San Diego where people lived even before California was a state. There were many old building for us to see, a big grassy space with gigantic trees, a flagpole and a cannon. Mexican food was on our mind so we waited outside the Casa de Reyes and watched some dancers before our table was ready. We ate outside while lights started twinkling in the trees and in the sky. Back to the Bahia then for bed ....goodnight moon.
