... Borrowed Tricia's driver for the second 9 (front 9 and stormed it with 20 points. I told her she's not getting it back!! Tricia managed 16 on the back to win by 1 point, so not so bad. Also bought his and hers turquoise los Colinas gollf shirts. Paul, that was my birthday present. Thank you.
Had a stroll round the Mar Menor this morning and to the beach this pm where the breeze is keeping it pleasantly cooler. Being mid week ...
Weather great, sunny skies all day.
A bit of food shopping yesterday, afternoon on the beach tehn dinner outside at Nina's bistro last night. Still comfortable oustide at 9pm.
No wifi at the house so sitting at the beach bar updating. Still early, noone in the beach bar but a few arriving at the beach. We will be down this afternoon.
No bbq at the house, so spent this ...
... Unfortunately we have a hen party in, and the aircon is not great.. a bit warm
Plenty of pastries and coffee on offer. Wine too! We missed the bacon baps which finish at 0930! It is nice to be out of the gatwick crowds, but that hen party is noisy.

... enterprise dating back to the 16th century. The last part of the walk took us over a mountain (around 1400 metres high) with amazing views of the limestone cliffs (Paredes de Leyva) we passed the other day.
Coming down the mountain was a bit dicey. Whilst there was a defined path, it was one of those occasions were you didn’t look up or down – keeping your eyes just a few inches in front of your feet. Not for those with vertigo.
