Night was falling, which in Baños means time for the hot pools. Another
50% discount at the entry and within minutes I was in the hot
"volcanic" water. BTW, Baños is located right below a 6000 meter active
volcano, Therefore the town is renowned for it's natural hot baths. Trying
to avoid any conversation with the locals, and trying to find some peace
and quite for a whole I dunked ...

My first crater lake
... on the direction of the wind. The crater lake was pretty amazing and it certainly lived up to Anna's photos. I'm so glad I went there!
On the way back up the crater we opted for the horseback ride. It was slow going but much more enjoyable than doing the climb by foot.
