Tonight is the last night in Corsica. What a wonderful reunion (and introduction) it has been with the Angonno's. We were musing that none of us had much knowledge of Corsica and selected it as a destination somewhat on a whim. How fortunate our whims are so wise. This place is full of beautiful scenery and lovely people. ...

But that didn't stop Nico from playing in the sand and Aunt Josie from taking a wine-induced nap on the beach. ... grounds for the hundreds of motorhomes that we see are really just dusty paddocks. Would be pretty depressing pulling into one of those every night. On the way to Calvi we are stopped on the road by French Customs. They wanted to see our "papers" - really, I thought that only happened in the movies. After answering numerous questions, "What are you smuggling?", "Have you worked illegally?", "What type of guns do you have in the back?" ...

... what the words are - English and Italian have a lot similarities. There was something on the menu today that I had no idea about - the word "lupe" included. I know this to mean wolf, so got up a translator on the iPad and discovered that the dish was stuffed wolf. Seriously, thats clearly not right, but what could it be??? I feel damned lucky that I just ended up with mussels and octopus. From town, off to find our hotel. Roger has researched and booked this one, and he tells me he ...
