We were given fruits and veggies and a plantain dessert and headed up to the farm where we pitched our tent in the upstairs lodgehouse and knocked a few bees nests down. We headed into town and I took Mike to the "beach" (rocky gravel and dirty water) where we found some AWESOME shells!!!

... up on the beach. After we finally got the hang of that, we got to head out into the surf and try to get waves. We were in the white water after the waves had already first broke farther out. We would look for a likely wave, which could take a while because it had to look right and not have other big waves too close in front of in back of it, then jump on the board and start to paddle. Once it grabbed you, you tried to jump up and stand on the board.
