    ... of Papusa stands. Since I'm not in love with Papusas like the Salvadorians, I opt for a chicken and vegetable dish. They tell me these are free range chickens. They are a little chewer, but have a good flavor and they were happy until the end!! Sara and Damian ordered several different Papusas and gave me a little of each to try. Some I liked better than others. :)

    It was just a short bus and taxi ride to get to our hostel in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador. Its so good to be in a country where it takes less than two hours to get from the beaches to the capital. We took a stroll out of the hostel and found that the area we were in was very clean and safe, which is not the way that people portray San Salvador.
