The food is appalling in Cuba. There is very little fresh produce and trade embargo's mean they don't get all the products we do elsewhere. One evening at a hotel, all they had to serve us at the buffet was 3 trays of cabbage, and 3 trays of pasta in mayonnaise. Then rice and beans. I think I ate rice and beans every single day.
