Waking up in a small village in the hills above Roma, the sun just rising above the hills, just beautiful! We're on the road by 9 as its a pretty big drive planned for today. We are heading across the width of Italy from just outside Roma to the Adriatic coast. At first we pass through rolling hills dotted with small villages, but soon were climbing higher up the alps. Quite a cool morning as we walked up to the first fort. This was ...

We then drove to our farm BB which was about 20 mins away in a very rural area that looks completely over San Marino. It was a very rough track for the last km leading up to the farm. The young owners had built the house out of the stones etc from her grandparents house who owned the farm originally. We had two rooms upstairs ...

Well this has to go down as the worst day of the whole tour. The coterie of Croatian school kids/students set up a disco in the deck just behind the Pullman seat lounge and the pounding music continues into the early hours. I feel like throwing them all overboard.

Morning eventually comes. Ari is constantly checking with the crew, and reports that ...
