... selling sea food and having bbqs on the beach. The weather is amazing cant believe that its still around the 25 degrees mark at this time of year.

We walked for a while and then worked our way back to the hotel where Ian went and lay by the pool for a little while reading his book while I had a little sleep. Its only a few days now until we come home and I am excited although I want to keep on travelling around. We got ready ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... and laughing at the funnyness of where we are.

As we walked past the bars imagine how funny it was to see loads of english couples a little older all sat in a bar watching only fools and horses. I always thought people where kidding when they said they came on holiday like this but is so true. Each to there own is all I can say. Ian is struggling to adjust and keeps saying he wants some spanish food. Lol.
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... is heavier than i normally travel with, getting around the london train stations is challenging at best especially when there is no escalator or elevator.on two seperate occasions during this trek i was surprised to get two seperate offers from complete strangers to help me carry my luggage down the stair. i look at this as nothing more than good karma, if you put it out there it will come back to you. i guess helping the lost tourists in san francisco paid off?<br ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands cruiseone2003Today we had an excursion to the Caves of Nerja about an hour away on the bus. The little town on the water was cute and reminded me so much of Dubrovnik. We have free time to visit the little church and have an ice cream. Then we were off to the nearby caves which were fascinating but didn't learn much because the guide was doing double time with the tour speaking both French and English and he spoke mostly French even when he was speaking English it seemed.
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands mamafeathers... the Moroccan midget down to a quarter of his asking price. We probably still got ripped off, but hey, we got to bargain with an actual Moroccan. After a couple more stops in the twisting streets of the Medina, and trying to avoid the gaze of guys selling everything from cheap bracelets to cheap drums to cheap wodden camels, it was back on the bus to see the real thing. We were told we would get a chance to ride the camels, but because of the rain we had to look at them from afar ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands debdeb80After breakfast and nice stroll on the beach, we head out to see the next city in the list which was Malaga. Malaga is very big compare to its size on the map :)
The trick is to head out to the old part of town to see the actions. Lots of architectures are dated back few years.
Cathedral as like the other places, is a must see in the old city. Small cobble stone alleys make it very nice and easy for walk.
The best ...
Malaga, Andalusia, Spain canadiansmiley... area with decent food. Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Lloyd, mostly because of the lack of cleanliness.

Since this town is touristy, many things are overpriced. We went to a small grocery store that we passed on our way to the beach where we were able to find some of our much missed American snacks. We bought a loaf of bread, some peanut butter, a small bag of Oreos, and some water--I believe this all came to cost about 16-18 Euros! Here in ...
