    ... over we then heard off to Murano, the island known for its glass making. We hoped onto to a Vaporeto and about one hour later we arrived in Murano. There we used our museum pass to go into the glass museum which took place in an old Bishops palace.     ... situation. Julie & Tony were very understanding, but 60 others had already rung them. I told them we would send a written application the next day, so much for a day at the local footy. Just as well, Centrals lost to Norths, Steve's team.
    We got an email the other to tell us that we had been selected, if we were still interested. Of cours we were! Our response was sent very quickly. Now we can spend more!!

    ... She was great!! once again very passionate about the history of the area and she made it interesting to listen to... Learned about the different architecture styles.. gothic, renaissance etc.. and the difference between them..     ... and a river every block, just as you’d expect. The grocery store (Billa) was unlike any of the others we’d been to this trip; it was huge! Just like a supermarket back home – complete with processed food and giant portions! We bought a few things to make dinners while we’re here, then headed back to the apartment.
