E um primo mais simples do Copacabana Palace. Foi remodelado ha pouco tempo e esta muito bonito. Tem uma vista linda da baia de Maputo. O quarto e bem espacoso e confortavel. Tudo limpo. Lencois de fios egipicios. Servico muito bom, com funcionarios sempre atenciosos.

It is all a bit dry for my liking but reasonably enjoyable and the price was ...

On board ship we were treated to some excellent lectures by Michael Buerk the TV presenter and journalist. His presentation about the state of Africa and why it was what it was politically was absolutely fascinating. ...

This African country has seen a great deal of unrest from the Portuguese through communist leanings to the present state of relative peace. Walking around the square taking pictures we saw very modern appearing people to woman carrying large objects on their heads. Next we rode through a very fashionable area with modern hotels and beautiful private homes ...

... crossing, the sidewalk and the carpath became one. Gaggles of guards wearing berets were milling about outside and lots of people (again, it was mostly African women) weaved in, out, and between the slow-moving cars on the street. There was a small building to the right. This is where I was herded into a queue, André joined me, and just as we were next in line to see an agent, I saw Michel arrive. We quickly grabbed him and made our way to the agent... the wrong agent... visas are ...

She was moving in with the girls into the MC house as they had extra space with the other guys in Russia. So now Sarah has left me as well. (It’s okay I still see her in the office, Hi Sarah!) Two weeks left in Africa and the goodbye process has started already.

In other news my phone bill for July has arrived, holy ****! Sigh….

    Also I’ve been thinking a lot ...
