    E um primo mais simples do Copacabana Palace. Foi remodelado ha pouco tempo e esta muito bonito. Tem uma vista linda da baia de Maputo. O quarto e bem espacoso e confortavel. Tudo limpo. Lencois de fios egipicios. Servico muito bom, com funcionarios sempre atenciosos.

    ... the art is all quite beautiful. Our parks are bulging, but we make room for a few more souvenirs.

    For many years Mozambique was a Portuguese colony and this is evident in the architecture and the official language. After independence, in 1975, the country became marxist with strong ties to Russia and East Germany and this is evident in the newer buildings that are very depressingly soviet.

    The garbage on the streets is amongst the worst we've seen ...

    after the excitement of yesterday evening, it was quite sobering - to put it lightly- to learn that the planetickets i bought were non-existent,since i bought them on a fraudulous website!!!!

    ... 2. Notre guide dans Kruger nous demande spontanément, pourquoi Maputo, Michel lui indique que c'est selon beaucoup de gens une des plus belles villes de l'Afrique. Pieter n’était pas d’accord indiquant que les ravages de la guerre étaient toujours présents, il y avait beaucoup de VIH, beaucoup de malaria et beaucoup de violence… hmmm, OK ben on verra

    ... could not get onto the bus as it was full, even after four phone calls to confirm that we did in fact need to book our seats. Luckily we managed to hustle the last two seats and settled in for the eight hour ride.

    ... simple, the night before they promised me they would go to karaoke and never bothered so I said I was late because I was still waiting for them outside karaoke. No more questions. Back to work, working on scripts, TV proposals I am considering directing as a new future career path. I’m looking forward to get away this weekend. We will see what happens. If it will be anything like last night, I’m sure we are in for another adventure.
