E um primo mais simples do Copacabana Palace. Foi remodelado ha pouco tempo e esta muito bonito. Tem uma vista linda da baia de Maputo. O quarto e bem espacoso e confortavel. Tudo limpo. Lencois de fios egipicios. Servico muito bom, com funcionarios sempre atenciosos.

It is elevated with by-fold doors all around, every balcony looks out over a private beach about the same size as the Start bay. There are 15 other houses on the estate we are staying on, the beach has great clean surf. The roof of the house is thatched and the ceilings are open 20 foot up. No air con is needed because its traditionally ...

... It is very much split into two halves - the lower city, the Baixa, is the older, poorer part, bustling with markets, while the upper city is the richer, newer part (where I'm told a plot of land goes for $150,000, even before building on it).

Mozambique used to be a Portuguese colony, so Portuguese is still the main language spoken here. Unfortunately at independence the country was left without any real educated people as many of the ...

... skipping a few. The first 6 were actual ellies, embalmed in formaldahyde, from 2cm in the first month to a perfectly formed 25cm ellie in the tenth month, absolutely fascinating to see. The others were sculpted or fibreglassed. The bugs and butterflies pinned to a board with stacked little papers typed with names and numbers reminded us of our lounge back in Cape Town.

Bon, on a nos visas, ...

... best weekend in Mozambique - what a fantastic way to end the trip! A total of 11 interns, from 9 different countries around the world, went on an adventure to Macaneta, a local peninsular. We had been told it was a 40 minute drive away, but after 2 chappas, a walk through a typical african village scene, a ferry and a 4x4 trip through some sand dunes, we arrived at our accommodation after about 2 hours,,,, we were not with any mozambicans so it ...
