Romanian impressions
... of Bulgaria was so different from our final one, we are a bit reluctant to share it with you. Furthermore, it is only an impression of the southern Danube-valley and Bucharest, probably not to be generalized for the whole of Romania. And finally, it is coloured by our impressions of Bulgaria. I hardly dare say it, but until now, "Bulgaria and Romania" were often taken together by us (and perhaps also by you).

... in awe of the history unfolding before my eyes. My favourite part, however, was the slab with a Roman footprint. I absolutely loved the human element of the history.
Our young guide was very informative. ... we decided it was time to go down the mountain. I found to my surprise that going back across the bridge was easier. In fact, this time I was able to stand in the middle of the bridge for a picture. Although it is not a good picture of me, it remains one of my favourite pictures from my journey, as it represents so very much for me.
