I have to say of all the monuments the Erechtheion was my favourite as a result of the roof being supported by six iconic figure maidens, the Caryatids. Six strong women portrayed and still standing tall, ya baby!

Have been trying to get into the free wifi I - surprise doesn't work probably because it's supposed to be free and that's not a word the Italians understand very well. Flight to Athens was very quick and comfortable, enjoyed our snack on Aegean Airlines - penne in cheese sauce, a roll and two biscuits and a drink, but flight was quick and pasta was really hot.
