... Castle tour: There is a beautiful castle situated 200 meters from Sirmione bus-stop. Entry is 4 Euro per person. Time to take a tour may vary from 1-3 hours. View of the lake and the town from the top of the castle is mesmerizing.

Gucci, Prada, etc can be found here. Great looking Italian fashions with prices to match. Via Mazzini took us down to Piazza Erbe where there was an open market set up selling fruits and vegetables, souvenirs and clothing accessories (hats, scarves, gloves). ...

Upon check-in we were informed that Sunday was the last of a three day regional wine tasting event being held in Verona old town. Over sixty wineries of the Veneto region offered Soave, Valpolicella, Amarone and a few Sparkling wines for visitors to try. The tasting was great bargain ...
... town and I could spend a whole weekend there. We departed Verona around 2:00 pm and headed to Azienda Agricola Gamba, where we had a guided tour and wine tasting. It was so beautiful and the wine was very good. We then headed back to Florence around 6:00 pm and got back by 9:00 pm. Very successful weekend in the cities of love.
