... much the rest of our journey will be centered around this body of water as we work our way around the coast of Italy, the islands of Greece, the south of Turkey as well as Israel and Egypt. This ancient travel hub for all the great civilizations and explorers of the past, this lovely warm blue water where Europeans come to winter will be our compass. Staying close for warmth, the solitary sun rises and sets over it’s expanse now that ...
Vic-la-Gardiole, Languedoc-Roussillon, France 2totango... the same stories but every time it's hilarious.
The hi-lite of my stay in Montpellier was spending the evening with friends from elementary school I hadn't seen in over 10 years. I had completely lost touch with these people but thanks to Facebook, I was able to join them all and organize a reunion. It was absolutely wild to see how these people changed and grew up. Some changed a whole lot while others I would have recognized in ...
... BUT the info we got for the campsite was wrong and it was closed.. and the one next door too. So a rushed internet trip we found one, way out and got there just in time. France is full of red lights, roundabouts and pedestrian crossings!!!! Im SOOOOO over them all!!!!
Got to the campsite and there were no buses in town,. We were exhausted by then so fell into bed and decided to give up on that part of France and head to Lyon the next day...
... to the most royal queens. I was very satisfied with the work put into my hair. When I got home I tidied up, did some laundry and made lunch. Right when I sat to have lunch it was time to get Julie already. Oh and guess what I ate for lunch!??! Ya tomatoes again!
We have been having a really good time today. She has started to become closer to me and I to her. She told me today how I am way better ...

Lesquels? Des ...
Well, finally - after a false start setting out to pick up friends from Pau airport a day early! - first night: moored up alongside the Canal du Midi, just south of Beziers. Some very noisy ducks for company... Bit of a gloomy one weather-wise. Rained last night, but forecast suggests brightening up gradually as day goes on. Slowing our departure from ...
Villeneuve-lès-Béziers, Languedoc-Roussillon, France marcdolav... nipple beach we decided to head back to our gite for an afternoon sleep. This has been a week of reading and resting. Only a couple of small road trips to see the area... much of which we had seen on our trip here. Tomorrow we head north east for a few days then down towards Nice. Will stay in Vence to visit with friends. Happy Mother's day to all you deserving Mom's out there.
Portiranges Plage, Languedoc-Roussillon, France marybcAfter Carcassonne, we had had our fill of tourists and we decided on a place a little less visited. Montepellier is a vibrant town with a huge student population and a 10 minute bus ride from some beautiful beaches. One of the better strokes of luck struck us as we exited the train station. We didn't have a place to stay and were really worried about finding accomodations because it was Bastille day(Frances independance day) and a ...
