Samedi, oufff la nuite a ete courte et petit mal de bloque ce matin! tout le monde se leve, les gens perdus reviennent lol et Maelle nous fait une bouffe, pasta! aujourdhui petit tour de la ville. ouff chu en mode Zombie! bon jai besoin dune creme glace! direction gelato! mmm yogourt, chocolat noir et mangue, cest trop bon, oh la ca prendrait un cafe! et apres, quest ce quon fait? et bien ...

... as we waited in the cold then shifted from bus to bus throughout the night. We crossed into Italy towards 4am and stopped for a short break where we got our first true taste of Italy, a hot chocolate that certainly lived up to the Italian expectation as thick, sweet, creamy, liquid chocolate was gluped into small tea cups and handed to us, it was far too early to handle and two or three spoonfuls sufficed. ...

It is an historic old building with good rooms and extra space to sit and relax, but it was all the added extras given without charge by the delightfully charrming hostess, Babette, that made you feel as if you were staying in the house of a friend. Tan top up (or going lobster in my case...)
... before we headed
back out to take the horses for a walk. It is always entertaining watching tiny
kids horse riding, a look of horror plastered on their face and holding on so
tight their knuckles are white.
Got back home, and felt absolutely
exhausted! Had yummy sausages cooked in vegetables, and of course some
scrumptious roast potatoes. A great day, but a long one. In need of a rest day
