... and a lot of good food and wine!
We started at Mas les Comelles, north west of Girona - a working farm, including the smell of the cows, with beautiful accommodation, great food and attentive hosts. Then on to Finca Bell Lloc - a winery at the end of a dirt road about 10 km inland from Palomas to the south east of Girona. The main house had been renovated with fantastic taste and the winery was an architectural wonder that was ...

... a sailing cruise. Depending on how smooth the ocean looks it will be a game time decision for MP. The weather has been lovely. Mostly sunny, mid seventies and a bit cool in the evening. Over and ...

... information was there very short opening times. We had managed to pick the one day of the year when ALL the museums were open, but we managed to actually view none. After enough walking and a quick explore of the cathedral, we hit the shops, initially to buy a magnet. We entered in a rather artistic shop, which we later found out was owned by a lady called Helena, nice woman. A true artist who earns her living making and selling her arts, oh and a true Catalan as well. After ...

... made, let's go to Llafranc. Despite an off-putting 1.5 hour drive, we did make the trip and it saved the day. On route I must admit I saw the most haunting playground, put it this way, there was a zip slide with a monkey attached and a giant elephant with no use apart from looking like it had just been frozen from a touring circus. Creepy clown heads and unrelated shiny characters completed the playground set that was wedged in-between ...
