... the Camino gives one a special kind of clarity about many things in life. It becomes easier to cut through all the noise in our lives and see things for what they truly are. Priorities seem easier to determine and decisions easier to make. We have passed a lot of 'Camino" art since crossing into Spain and I thought it might be interesting to post several of the more compelling sculptures we have passed since entering this country. It is a surprising delight to be walking along ...

Early afternoon the wind started to drop and of course the boys put up the gennaker. Phil's cottage pie went down very well indeed. Duncan put his fishing lines in and out for the whole trip but we were rather concerned about catching any fish that could swim at 8 to 10 knots!

We started the day with some wind surfing. Water was cold but far less rough than yesterday. Kim was still really sore from her vigorous run on Friday, but Alyssa and I took part. I was actually able to move forward later in the afternoon, in the morning we had no wind. But with calm waters I had an easier time learning how to balance on the board. Stew took regular trips on his wind surfer out beyond the bouys when he wasn't helping one of us. ...
