    ... bought fresh bread, olives, ricotta, roasted capsicum and farro salad for lunch. Was really nice. Their foods are fresh, creamy and delicious.     ... through Venice in a large "S" shape - this canal is the fastest way to get from the bus or train station to most parts of Venice and most likely the route by which most tourists staying in one of the many hotels reach their destination. Coming into this Grand Canal are hundreds of smaller canals....I guess these would be "backstreets" in non aqua terms!
