... about 1 hour on the boat. There is residential along the shoreline and half way up the mountain most of the way around the lake, the further we get away from Como although it begins to thin out and clear townships can be seen.

We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...

I have really enjoyed driving along the Mediterranean coast, but heading into the mountains again was nice. There wasn't much traffic on the smaller roads and the weather was still really nice.

We had the same thing at a petrol station, we were waiting in line to fill up and one of the staff started yelling and waving at us to go around the other side. We were waiting for the side where our fuel cap was but apparently they can reach around the car here... So yeah people here are quite different to the other places we have been!!
