... and despite our best efforts have eaten well. The entertainment is amazing, the staff couldn't help you any more- they hate it if anything is wrong and go out of their way to fix it. And the people we have met and made friends with are fantastic. Naturally you get the grumps and complainers and Phil found some of our coach travellers hard to crack, but 90% of the people we met were fabulous and friendly. Woke up about 7 and started to get ready and pack, had 2/3 of a jam sandwich, an apple and some orange juice for breakfast, then checked out of the hotel and walked to the station where we got the 10:30 train to Venice. Caught the bus and walked 15 minutes to the campsite and checked in, then sorted our stuff in the tent (which was fine!) and got changed to our bikinis and went in the pool and jacuzzi which was at the campsite, stayed there ...
