... the stuff you find in the corner of a room on the floor.... Got our money back and decided to wait until we arrived to find food minus the dust balls. Toilets on the train are a hole over the tracks also. Don didn't believe me so he went and had a look... We had a laugh at this for a good while. Our accommodation was 100 m from the train station which we planned well. Dropped our bags, got changed and headed out to explore the island of venice. ...

... Walked for a while and found one place that was blowing glass but they were only making paperweights while they waited for a special group to come through so we watched that then headed off to find a shady spot to eat our picnic. They would never look quite the same on a museum ...

... We met the drummer from the band, who was a young Aussie bloke. His name was Gerard and we called him Gezza, much to his delight. After a few more delicious cocktails we grabbed some seats in the entertainment theatre for A Night With Celine Dion. Obviously not the real Celine, but an amazing impersonator, who sung all the hits, and sounded so much like the real thing! We came back to our rooms to find a little towel elephant creation on our bed, made by ...

Wednesday we spent the whole day in Venice. It took us half an hour to get there by boat. When we arrived I did an optional walking tour. The tour guide was really entertaining and we did it at about 10am so it was still cool. It was a really good tour. We walked from St Marks square to the Rialto Bridge and back, and she showed us some good restaurants along the way. After the walking tour we had a glass blowing demonstration. This was quite interesting and we got to ...
