A fortified village in another stunning location, is France really this good?!!! Today we said a very fond farewell to the Dodogne and travelled the 100 miles to Condom. We stopped enroute to visit Villeneuve sur Lot an attractive little town where people were leaving the Cathedral after the Pentecost service. ... we were now well adversed in the area, its food and its fine selection of wine, Floc and Armagnac. We had learned so much in such a short time and we had barely scratched the surface of this fascinating region.
I feel many of us will return to taste these flavours again and to dig deeper into this wonderful area.
