Hotel Camino Real Nuevo Laredo

Leider ging unser Flug nach Las Vegas von Laredo, Texas aus und nicht von Monterrey...<br>Deshalb hieß es gleich nach der Präsentation in Intercultural ab ins Taxi und geradeaus zum Busbahnhof. Von dort aus dann mit dem Bus über die Grenze, eine Nacht in nem Motel pennen und dann endlich mit dem Flieger nach Las Vegas.<br>

Hoy hemos realizado una visita rápida a Mexico. A 230Km de San Antonio, se encuentra Laredo (USA) y Nuevo Laredo (Mexico), separados por el famoso Rio Grande. Aparcamos el coche en Laredo y después de una breve visita, cruzamos a pié la frontera, que emoción. A nuestra llegada a Mexico, y depués de pagar 75 centavos, nos encontramos una calle donde allí nos estaban esperando todos los Mejicanos para ofrecernos ...

She was going a little too fast, but was only warned! ... rv, waiting for help. . At 7:50 someone came to help change the tire. Papaw cooked dinner in the microwave while we waited. . I lost my tooth while eating a piece of candy. We limped into Laredo and stayed in the walmart parking lot our first night. They came back to finish the tire at 7:45 a.m. the next morning. We walked to burger king for breakfast, then we had to buy 4 more tires.

... to a taxi stand. I hadn't been to Nuevo Laredo in probably around 5 years or so, and I had heard it had become very dangerous. But everything was fine and went very smoothly. After a $5 cab ride to the Bus Station, we got our tickets and waited to board. The bus station was very nice, and the buses are too. I am really surprised how easy it was to get over into Mexico, and wonder if we may actually have more trouble getting back into the states. -Homero - Nuevo Laredo, Mexico

Next stop was Amistead lake near Del Rio Where we stayed a night for $4 on the lake, the wind was blowing so we moved on again the next day, heading South East along the border. After dinner we set out to find a motel for the night and saw a real cool fifties looking place called the Beverly Crest that reminded us of the Hollywood motel in 'The World's Fastest Indian' where Burt is befriended by the cross-dressing desk clerk. Unfortunately there was no vacancy and we would stay at the Hawaiian Royale next door that was a bit run down, but after a long day of driving we just needed a place to crash.

... explained my situation and he told me that Jay Decker had just left to sweep the loop and that I needed to pass him and ride those sections before they were torn down. There were just ten minutes remaining. I took off without even thinking about the fact that my gas tank was probably running pretty low! ... riding and clearing throughout the day and Jorden was having a blast getting used to the clutching and shifting on Marvia's TTR125 on the track. Later on Linda arrived and I brought her over to the trails to show her what we were up to. That evening we were treated to a great Thanksgiving feast on the back porch by candlelight.
