Day 1
Our adventure had an early start. Our first flight of the day was at 6:00 a.m. which took us to Miami Florida. In Miami we were delayed for about an hour before our plane took us to Managua Nicaragua
.
Once we got to Managua getting through customs was very easy. The first thing that I noticed was that it was very hot today. The …
Doing just fine....
Hey everyone! I am doing just fine here. The climate suits me just fine, feels like good ol'GA. I've been stuck in this swanky hotel called the Hotel Camino Real here in Managua. Today I got some immunizations and the other trainees and I played ultimate frisbee and swam in the pool. There is some awesome food here in the hotel, better not get used …

TravelPod Member ReviewsHotel Camino Real Managua
Due to flight changes, I only stayed at Hotel Camino Real for an evening but it was a pleasant place to be. I enjoyed a free cocktail and fish fritters (average) while watching some live sax music. It was a lovely end to a very long day. My only 'complaint' was that at checkout I asked if I could swing by for a swim while in Managua for a 5 hour layover next week. They said no, even when i offered to pay. I understand the pool is for guests but i have paid for a room and was will willing to pay extra?
