    Crete-the wine, the food, the hospitality and kitties! Crete is known for the cats-a pretty healthy bunch of semi-feral cats that are all over the island.     ... dessert and booze at the end.  The first night was the freshest green grapes with Raki.  The second night was coconut pound cake and Raki.  Raki is part of Cretan culture,  It is 37%25 alcohol and comes from grapes after crushing them.  It is stiff!  Couple that with a sweet dessert!
