Alarm goes off, alarm goes off again, alarm doesn't go off. Oops, 10 mins before the free time expires on the car, I make a quick dash to put some money on the meter. As I approach it looks normal, it takes money but does it want to? No. As I puzzle over the confusion of the machine, a 'man sweeper', starts talking in Catalan, I respond in Spanish, luckily he responds in Spanish. Cadaques, Costa Brava, Spain
One of those little towns only seen in the movies, secluded
from the outside world, a dot along the Mediterranean coast that no one would
dislike. Beautiful white villas caress the long coastal footpath mixed in with

... we leave this area. Monells is a wonderful storybook sleepy village now that the tourist season is over.
Tonight we dine again at Hotel Arcs because the meal was so outstanding last night. Tomorrow we are taking a cab back to Girona, we have one more night at Hotel Llegendes before we leave Spain.
During dinner we met a nice couple, Annette and Harm from Amsterdam, Holland. They have completed extensive cycle ...

A bright and early start- I got my hot chocolate! We had decided to go to the coast so that David could swim, so it was decided to go south of St Cyprien to Las Capellas. This is a sand spit with a marina behind. It is beautiful and the beach is shallow and the water warm. There are also fish in the sea! So that was a warm and pleasant morning. Following ...
