... arent they. We checked out balboas candy store where I brought my dad a lollypop. Whats the point in bring that up? Well it has a real scorpion in the middle that you are expected to eat at the end. (similiar to a tequila worm I guess, only less alcoholic and more sugerary.) Teehee hes going to hate it!! ... especially at night and you could hardly hear each other talking.
We left Palm Springs Saturday and travelled to Modesto and spent the night there. Travelled from there Sunday - arrived late afternoon and checked into a very nice motel. We are just about to go out for dinner nearby so cheerio for now.

We dinned on Zaida'a gourmet cooking for dinner and spent a quiet evening enjoying our time with our hosts and watching THE HELP. We even begin to make friends with Zoe, the pure white, shy cat that likes to play fetch.

... a retirement haven for older gay men but in reality it's a beautiful resort town, complete with shops, galleries and resorts surrounded by mountains and desert. We've both said we could easily move here. Sure the climate is hot (it's averaging around 38 degrees Celsius here now), but it's a dry heat and only tough during the summer months.
