After looking at the map we decided to stop in Palm Springs on the way to San Bernardino (just outside of LA). We got out the car when we reached the visitors centre and wow was it hot!! The not so helpful people at the visitors centre told us that their was a tramway into the mountains or a museum and that was all there was to do in Palm Springs this time of year! Hmm ok!
