We left our smokey motel to travel to Hahoe to visit a traditional folk village, one of the best preserved in the area. The interesting thing about the area was that the village has been preserved and protected but also is a fully functioning working village with everyone going about their daily business. I went to my very first Korea Mask Festival yesterday. Unfortunately, it left much to be desired. I mean, I don't really know what I was expecting. But it wasn't this.
