We visited one of Sicilia's most famous events ... The Cous Cous festival in San Vito lo Capo ... The "theme" for the event is the "make Cous Cous not war ..." Very nice beach area, very crowded . Interesting to visit for the day, for 10 euro each you get one Cous Cous dish, one drink (pop or wine ) and one dessert. Five different ...

... price..most ordinary places are 2 euro. Packed a bit then bed. Slept well and met our English mates in the foyer as they were vanishing..exchanged emails..they wanted us to join them for dinner last night but the girls on the front desk had not passed on the message..grr. Notwithstanding my Facebook comments about being asked to move tables when we were finishing our liqueur so the restaurant could seat others the meal was just excellent. Bev had a wonderful seafood stew and grilled tuna, I had ravioli stuffed with fish ragu, grilled octopus and pasta with red prawns. Actually I had about half of Bev's fish stew as well! It was about a 10 minute walk from our Trapani hotel to the central train station where we purchased tickets to Marsala about 30 minutes away. It was a local train, but comfortable and moved along at a good speed making 3 quick stops on the journey. After arriving we made a couple of wrong turns on our walk to the historical area so the reported time of 15 took more like 30! We found a nice cool spot for lunch, a blessing the in 35' heat.
