    Day 45

A travel blog entry by 4girls on Aug 14, 2014

Waking up after a refreshing sleep in, it was time to pack our bags as check in was at 12pm. After putting our bags into the hotel storage room it was time to say goodbye to some of the group and head to breakfast. We found a place just around the corner that had eggs and bacon for 6.50€ so we were sold. As we had all day to spare, we walked around the shops looking for bathers, singlets, souvenirs and bargains. We headed back to ...

Another sleep in and down to reception at noon to meet the group. Our tour manager had organised for us to head to bora bora beach and Ibiza rocks diner for lunch. After deciding it would take too long to wait for taxi's, the group walked down to the bus stop. Unfortunately the bus driver takes passenger limits a bit too seriously and as soon as Claire jumped on he decided to close the doors, luckily Lauren was able to jump through before ...

Today was our kayaking day. Decided to swap the trusty scooter for a car as we needed to drive to the other side of the island. Went to the car rental place and they had a Nissan micra available. How humiliating! Being Spain we didn't have to sign any paperwork for the car and their was no inspection done on the car or the scooter that we were returning!
Took off with howie driving the manual micra ...

... and warm. Had a swim and then headed back towards the port and found a nice restaurant on the beach which was almost deserted as it was only about 1:30 so too early for most people to eat. Had a lovely paella and sat looking at the lovely blue water and back to ibiza. Magical!
Afterwards we rode to another quieter beach equally as beautiful. Followed by a cafe perfecto!
Took the ferry back and onto the scooter to go to the phone repair ...

Today we felt brave enough to venture out of town on the scooter so decided to head to the west side of the island in the afternoon after a legs workout for howie and a tasty lunch at Coquus where unfortunately we were the only customers :( They gave us a nice whole fish each! The waitress was sweet.
Headed through Sant Josep to cala de bassa which was very crowded but lovely clear water. Chilled out dance music playing from the cafe behind the beach and ...
