Up at 6am to ensure we get through the rest of Sardinia and across to Corsica before dark. Once again little wind so we motor on up and cruise through the Maddalena's. Very pretty and lots of large expensive yachts floating around. Making good time we head across the Bonafacia Straights and into port. A very unique harbour and hopefully time to explore tomorrow morning before we head off to Minorca - it's all go here but have to keep moving whilst weather is good for ...

    ... a lovely warm day.

We got back to our room, and I immediately got my suit on to go to the pool. The sun felt so good and so warm. Eldon stayed in the room to pick out several different hotels for tomorrow night. He came down with the computer and I selected the place I wanted to stay tomorrow night. We have a water view, pool and balcony. It should be quite nice.

We had a nice late afternoon around the pool. I ordered ...

We caught the ferry right on time. Eldon dropped me off at the terminal, and I stayed with the luggage. He returned the car and walked back to the ferry terminal. Everything worked out smoothly.

The ferry left right on time at 10:00. It was only a 50 minute ferry ride to Corsica, and I couldn't believe how sick many people were. It was a pretty rough 50 minutes if I do ...

... are achingly beautiful. I don't know how I can love the water so much when I'm totally terrified of it. I'm O.K. on a boat but getting too far out or snorkeling by myself is too scary.

All in all it's been a great trip, too long, but great.

My goal when we get home is to hit the gym 7 days a week and really cook so VERY HEALTHY meals. Lots, of veggies, fruits, beans and things like that.

... path leading to pirates cave. After lunch he was determined to do this, I let him go and got comfy by the pool. He arrived back an hour or so later, extremely sweaty, mumbling something about 189 lung busting steps. He says the tread on the steps was double the normal size. So glad I didn't go. Spent a lazy arvo by the pool and a nice dinner out where we got talking to a french couple at the next table. Off north ...
