Weather forecast for tomorrow isn't good either so I'm only doing 200 miles to a town called Sinsheim, they have a rather good plane & car museum....

Weather forecast is thunderstorms until Tuesday.....

This morning, we left the ship at 9 AM for a walking tour of Maastricht with a local guide. Maastricht is the capital city of the province of Limburg. We never have heard of it before but it's where the first Treaty on European Union (Maastricht Treaty) was signed in 1992. This treaty lead to the creation of the euro. It also has 1677 national heritage sites and it's a university town too.

... quicker than I was expecting. Also, again living up to the stereotype, I got lost in Utrecht Centraal Station trying to find the platform for the other train. I walked up to a janitor to ask for help and this really sweet lady came over to help me. I was shocked at how readily she was willing to help me find the right place to go.

That continued on the train as well. All of the station announcements are said over a raspy intercom with very rapid Dutch. Obviously, I don't know ...

I looked at the extensive range on the shelves, and when the woman finally finished her telephone chat I asked her who made them. He was Dutch from Zealand, but obviously he was trading on NZ’s reputation. I think they would be hard pressed to find mountains in his country.
