This trip has brought pretty much all what has to be experienced in a worldtrip. And it is eventually an example, that anybody can do anything, or can go anywhere, if one just believe in it.

But a journey like this would never be possible without help of others. And therefore

... can't take photos in the library and I can describe in words the beauty of the library sufficiently. Let's just say if you have the chance, go take a look.

It was time for food so we found a little cafe and had a bite to eat before tracking down my parents again. They were hungry because they had been waiting for us before they ate (oops!) so we returned to the same cafe and they had a quick meal before we returned to the car. Next stop: Austria!

... are works of art protruding from the towers, and in front of the cathedral is a beautiful bench with fun creatures wrapping themselves around it.

When we were almost out of time on the meter we made our way back to the car and continued east through Switzerland.

Just a day trip to see this old city. Lots of brightly painted buildings with ornate oriel windows. Most of the windows were carved with scenes or fancy designs, sometimes painted, sometimes both. Lots of fountains and statues. Found a chocolate shop and pigged out.

... a little boat out and drove around a bit. Friday was of course Independence Day in America; I didn't really celebrate. I attempted to teach my host-niece to play guitar, though. Yesterday was a feedback session for my exchange program, but it was actually a part of an alumni get-together for the Berufsakadamie. We talked some about the program, had some food and drink, and then just talked for a while. The five of us Americans here hung out all afternoon with ...
