everything you see is made and built to perfection. The streets are spotless and
the towns are done up in wonderful colours with fountains in the middle of
roundabouts etc. it really is a beautiful country.
I always remember Slovenia being rather flat and the roads lined with trees
which hide the scenery. Well, today was certainly not flat by any means, in fact
I don't think there was a single flat mile in the whole journey.

... the laptop fixed but it needs more time to find the problem so will have to wait till Salzburg. We have enjoyed our stay here but it has been made more difficult by not having wifi at the flat. That has been the only disappointment. Tomorrow we have a taxi booked for 10 and the train leaves at 11.40. After 2 days of ferocious packing and cleaning, as we vacate what has been our Reception, Bar and Restaurant for the last six and a half years, we have collapsed in a heap pending some last minute personal packing and 'making ourselves look beautiful' preparations - so much to do, so little time!
