    ... looked bad, but perhaps all the nasties had been taken out?

    IJmuiden is a good 45 minutes away from Edam, our first stop. Edam is a quaint little village with lots of photo opportunities - including the second largest church in the Netherlands. It was really pretty - definitely worth a visit.

    ... They even gave us water in glasses. Usually here they only sell bottled water. No refills on drinks we hear. They did charge for the bread and steak sauce.
    Every block here has a bakery. Most have "coffee" houses. That is not for drinking coffee. They serve marijuana. I suppose Colorado wants to be like this!

    ... way we took the obligatory pictures with the giant "I Amsterdam" sign and saw some people ice skating in the park. The Van Gogh museum was also really informative, but didn't have as many of the more famous paintings as you would expect but Sarina had a really good time of it.     Another day in the city, we decide to grab some happy muffins and head to the sex museum. It's the largest sex museum in all of Europe. It went through all different ages, cultures, etc. They had different kinds of artifacts and other gifts that were given or owned by the elite and royals in all kinds of places.
