So here's a qustion: what do you do at a beach resort in winter? On the advice of the guidebook I visited the port. I got off the bus at a cluster of tacky all-you-can-eat restaurants (plastic tables, plastic menus) around a car park, got directions to the wharf and went for a walk.

... was too cold to swim in the ocean, we were blessed with cool but sunny days that made for nice walks on the beach and our hotel had an indoor pool which was the temperature of a spa, so we still got to have a swim! ... beach at all. It was still cloudy after an hour of been there and it was really windy so we decided to play games on the beach instead. It was fun and very relaxing as there was no hustle and bustle like you usually get on the beaches.
