          ... we stopped at a street vender to pick up some authentic churros. That was my dinner. I wasn't very hungry but I had heard that real churros it the ones we buy in the states to shame. It's true. It was like eating fried food at the rodeo.... Fried and crispy, bagged in an oil-soaked brown paper bag, mmm mmm mmm! I brushed my teeth for an extra couple minutes and kept the Listerine for an extra 30 seconds after all that sugar! Time for one last night of sleep here in Costa ...

          How did this upset me, begin meant they shut the city of San Jose down, and we had plan to go there on our last day to explore and shop. So we were screwed. Secondly and even more aggrevating, he was leaving the day I was leaving! How could this be. After all the hell I went to to get to Costa Rica, I was going to have the same horror leaving! NOOOOO....this is so wrong! I was very upset!

          ... here and you're having a lesson in cleaning your teeth. I don't care that you are 12'. He didn't believe that I would follow through but he was wrong. All hell broke loose! I was in teacher-mode and he was in stitches but complying and when his gums started to bleed that was the end of him. He was on the floor laughing uncontrollably until he cried. I hadn't seen him really laugh for such a long time so of course, I cried too.
