Its always a delight walking out along the river, and now it's louder and more boisterous after the recent rains. Trickles of water criss-cross the path and theres even sections where the path is the water course. There is a refugio referred to on the signs, but no other information, not even height. Came across several ruined buildings before reaching a reconstructed display fojaroi. ... padded part, and I hadn't gone over the edge, but boy, did it hurt. No options but to walk out. Slowly and carefully. It was a long way back to the car, and even then no relief, as what was I to sit on during the trip home?

All movement hurt, so retired early. While both cheeks hurt, one sprung a bruise the size of a $5 note......shame its not a photogenic spot, all shades of purple!
