... is done, and yup, it was cold. After the tour we went to dinner at the brewery restaurant. I had beef filet roasted in Pilsner and sausage. We sat with two gentlemen from Romania - that was very interesting! I slept the whole way back and it was very late when we returned- which is why this post is so late!

Today we are waiting for a bus to take us to Karlovy Vary which is a spa town and the location of the Moser Glass ...

I don't think that ...

Again I wished Jodi could have seen it. There were these huge copper kettles that are heated from below and can reach temperatures of 1000 degrees. Next came the really interesting part of the tour: underground in the cellars. These were used to ferment the beer in big barrels ...

... 15/5/2013. Our last day at Plzen. Hot and sunny. Cycled round the lake in the morning and trammed it to town in the afternoon for pils and ice cream. Saw Bob was on Skype so had a video chat. He's the only friend we have who uses Skype. After all the trouble we've had with the Leeds BS saw today that my original cheque, sent with the application form on the 7th April which they said they hadn't received, had been cashed today, the 15th May. They haven't heard the last from me ...
